I was at my sisters the other night and she had a bottle of Mcormick grill mates Mesquite seasoning. I tasted it. Kinda tangy, but had a decent flavor.

Almost as good as liquid smoke right!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeesh i avoid anything with the liquid smoke, or smoke flavoring added.
Works if you're NOT smoking, but for moppin' sauce I use just the basics to build my base, and go from there...

I use a lot of Maple as it is all over the place here:)- and I use Hick.,Apple(alot of orchards here), and Cherry to ammend the flavor; just wish I could get some Mesquite!

I'm a dislocated Texan and I grew up on the stuff, miss it!
