MES130P Bluetooth UK rewire

Hi All,

Hoping to get a bit of help.

I have the Auber AW-1520H V2 and I want to do the MES rewire to replace the controller for better temp control/smoking.

I have been following the guide and failed at the first hurdle which is identifying the correct wires to bypass. Mainly because my control unit doesn't look the same as the guides.

Would anyone with a bit more of an electrical understanding just let me know which wires need joining together?

Appreciate that once that is done, I need a US to UK plug adapter to put the power cable into the PID and then a US to UK adapter from PID to wall?

Looks like the red braided wire on the relay may be for the the upper broiling element and the other next to it for the bottom element. You may just need to unplug the smoker and ohm the plug blades to smooth wires for power cord continuity and the braided wires to each leg of the element after unplugging the wires from the legs to ohm continuity to each element leg. Then one (neutral) smooth power cord wire, wire nutted to a braided element wire and the other (hot) smooth power cord wire to the other braided element leg. then ohm the plug blades for continuity and the ground prong to the chassis for continuity. The four wires cable tied together may be the the ones that need to be made into two wires. The smooth blue maybe the hot power cord that needs to be wire nutted to the white braided wire next to it connected to the relay and the white smooth is probably the neutral power cord that needs to be wire nutted to the braided blue wire next to it. The access to the bottom element may have the braided blue going to one leg and the color may change with the other braided going to the round safety snap disk over temp switch then from the switch to the other bottom element leg.
