Leave the Smoker Off. using the remote, hit On, then set Temp, adjusting up or down accordingly and tap Set Temp to lock in. Next tap Set Time, I always hit the " Neg " button to set the cook time to 24 hours and tap Set Time again. The Heating indicator should come on and you will be off and running. The display will show the current interior temp at the sensor but that sensor is no where near the grates so a separate therm is the best bet. To see the Meat Temp tap the button but you will need to verify it is accurate...JJ
