I agree sort of.... smoke is made up of burning, or previously burning, "stuff".

Smoke definition is in one instance: a mass of tiny particles in the air that rises up from something burning.

So yes, by definition, it's the smoke formed from what you're burning, whether it be a candle (can't explode usually), or cow farts, which burn readily if you're willing to light them at the source

i did have a water pan and always use it... so i dont know why it caught on fire.... i also dont over load my wood chips either...

Of all of the 2 1/2 yrs I have been here, I hear and read so much complaints about these cheap asz chinese POS's. One day we will be reading about a loss of life or property because of them. I almost bought one many years ago, and I am glad i didn't waste my money or indanger my life.

I know a few guys really like them, but is that because they have never tried a different one, or because they have a rare "good" unit?

Please be carefull with these things, wouldn't be suprised to see a recall someday on them.I know I wouldn't be able to sleep very well wondering about wether the thing was gonna stay working, or burst into flames!
