MES door change out

Just wondering has anyone ever thought of or researched if you could take the old style of door like model #20070910 and buy a "replacement" door for a model #20070110.  Than you could get the window feature without replaceing for whole unit.  Would this work or is there something that Masterbuilt did to prevent this?

Good question. I know the doors are removable. I just don't know about the brackets on the older model's and the newer models and if there compatible. I have some pictures of the upper and lower hinge brackets.
