MES 40" how to tell if its Gen 2.5?

How can you tell if the masterbuilt electric smoker is gen 2.5?

If it's Bluetooth it's a 2.5

I ordered the Masterbuilt 20075315 Front Controller Smoker with RF Remote Control because it was $80 cheaper than the bluetooth version. Also last night I discovered this article The Only Buyer’s Guide You’ll Need for the 40 inch Masterbuilt Smoker  which says:

The 20075315 2.5 generation is pretty much a pimped up version of its predecessor, with all the niggles ironed out.

So I guess I got lucky and got the correct model. Unfortunately my timing was off and I could have saved $100 if I had ordered it 3 weeks ago from Amazon or Samsclub. Either way I'm excited to try my hand at smoking this weekend. I think I'll try wings first.

I have a gen2 which just about everyone rips on but with a mailbox mod, and amnps it works great and has been for about 5 years.

I also have a 2.5 which I bought this past summer and so far so good with that as well.
