I searched for a old post on rewiring an Masterbuilt digital smoker and can not find what I'm looking for.
It was a detailed instruction with pictures of the new wires made up with stainless connectors.
I am in need of a rewire and that post would be very helpful for a electronically challenged person like myself.
I see the " No back removal" thread which is awsome, thanks you for sharing, but the one I'm looking for had more detail.
Online know which one I'm talking about?

Just an option, you could consider bypassing the original controller and install a Auber PID controller. Meaning connecting a power cord directly to the heating element. Then plug the other end of the power cord to the Auber PID controller. This is what I did to my MES40gen1 smoker. Never looked back. I then did the mailbox mod.

Maybe tallbm tallbm will chime in. He knows alot about them and rewiring them. He will put you on the right track. There are others too, but their names won't come to mind at the present.

Thanks for the replies.
The thread I'm looking for had photos of the old vs new wires laid out with the new connector ends. And another of detail.
Ah, this is bugging me.
My apologies. I should have copied the thread.
