Having family and friends over for pulled pork and some ribs today.

I was already to foil my ribs when I noticed mt temperature was dropping.

Not any heat coming off the heating element...

I tried turning it off and back on.

Unplugging it and plugging it back in, nothing.

The display shows that the temperature is going down and the heating light is on.

Oh well, kind of a hot day here to be finishing everything in the oven, but it will work.

At least I got a good smoke until them.

A few more hours and a couple of home brews and we will be eating anyway.

Happy Labor Day everyone.

At least ya made it to the foiling stage.. I'm not an MES owner but from things I have read... they say the wire (connection) burns off at the heating element... sometimes the heating element itself burns out... I'm sure MES owners will be along shortly and get you straightened out...

Ok, after a great dinner I got a chance to open it up.

A wire burned off the heating element.
