Received my MES 30 today and have seasoned it.  My amnps should be delivered tomorrow.  Next weekend im probably going to smoke a boston butt (no foil.)  Since im going the no foil method the butt will take longer to finish and the amnps will probably burn out before its finished.  Should i refill and re-light the amnps a second time or just finish the cook without any smoke?

Keep the door shut..

It will get plenty of smoke by the time it runs out...

If you fill the AMNPS all the way you should get around 10 hours of smoke, that should be plenty of smoke. After 10 hours the butt should be up to a good temp and have developed a good dry skin on it and probably won't absorb any smoke past that anymore so just let it cook.

Since this set-up is new to you, if you can, try and do a trial run with it. I know some have had problems keeping the AMNPS lit in an MES and it takes a little tweaking the chip loader to get the correct amount of O2 in it. So some preliminary testing will probably save you some stress and confusion during your cook.

Yo njfoses, congrats on your new MES and new AMNPS!  Your all set to make great Q.

Sir not trying to sound like a forum cop, but had you taken a moment to read through the posts on the first page of posts listed in the forum, you would have seen 3 posts under this one "My 1st MES 40 Smoke - SUCCESS!" there are 3 newbie MES threads by KCRedzone, one right after the other, there is SO MUCH info for new MES owners in those thread threads, also included are clear "how to Smoke Pork Butt".

There is a wealth of info for MES owners in this electric smoker forum, there is also a lot of friendly experienced MES owners willing to help newbies, most questions have been answered many times a quick browse through the first two pages of threads may help most new owners.

Not sure if you have seen these tips for new MES owners, hopefully some of the info is useful for you.

Anyway welcome, let us know how your first smoke goes.

Thanks, i have done a ton of searching/reading over the last week or so here.  I just didn't see specifics on refilling the amnps or not.  I have found a few posts from yourself that are very informative to the community here!
