Hey guys, I just wanted to see if anyone else is running into the same issue I came across today. I use my smoker once a week pretty much. I pretty much keep it clean by wiping it down when I'm done after every use (not the walls of course) and store it inside my house. I noticed today after smoking when I wiped the edge on the internal side of my smoker that the paint peeled off. Here's a pic:

As you notice on the bottom left, the black paint peeled off. Towards the bottom center, there's a little discoloration; it's not rust though.

My question is this, should I be worried?

Thanks guys!!

I wouldn't worry about it.

I would just take a putty knife or some sandpaper & get any loose stuff off.

Then spray some Pam on the bare metal.

They sell High temp black paint for grills at the hardware store. Scuff up the bare spot and feather out the paint around it and spray paint the spot.
