I use an MES30 mainly to smoke Snack Sticks and SS,
i have found that about the only thing to cold smoke in a stock MES30 is cheese, because you wouldn't be using any heat.
The lowest setting is 100' with temps going up to 120' when you add the AMNPS it can jump up to 140' all depending on the ambient temp which has something to do with the smoker temp.
What cold smoking temps are you trying to achieve!
Use the regular procedure for Chip try and Loader set up. I push the loader all the way in after the first hour. you get good TBS and the longest burn possible...JJ
