I am starting to think about what to put on the MES for the super bowl party. Heading over to my brothers house and there will probably be a crowd and more than likely I will be requested to "try" using my smoker...

ABT's and possibly some wings as appetizers
Pulled Pork and my wife's slaw
BB ribs.
Dutch's wicked beans

I was thinking about doing the pulled pork the day before that way the day isn't overwhelming with the smoker and kids and company getting in the way. What do you guys recommend for reheating it the next day? I'm assuming that I should just put it in the oven covered with some juices from the previous day on a low heat until warm...

Anyone else care to share what they are putting on the smoker?

A Qview will be done.

Well while your thinking about your apps you should think about getting in on the throwdown this month cause it all about apps for the super bowl. So go check it out.

You will be fine reheating in the oven, some folks reheat their pp in a crock pot or if you have it in vacuum sealed bags you can drop them into simmering water but all three ways will reheat fine.
Not sure if I will have anything on the smoker, no clue when the Superbowl is anyway so I guess it just depends on if I happen to be smoking that day.

Super Bowl night is our "Super Bowl" for food and drink!

Planning on ABT's, several different kinds of wings, MOINKs, shrimp, crab legs, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pizzas, and lots-o chips/dips/salsa and of course many kinds of adult beverages!

NO VEGGIES ALLOWED! (well maybe a veggie tray with ranch dip)

always take the day after the Super Bowl off so I can enjoy the food, the drink and the game.

Probably going to smoke a brisket, maybe some ribs.

also probably going to get a couple live dungeness crabs for a steamer.

I am going to keep it pretty simple this year, ribs on the smoker and nacho's in the oven. might try my luck at wings on the smoker and beer to keep hydrated, lots of beer. did I mention beer?

We're having my famous special-method chicken wings, beef satay, baked artichoke dip, spring rolls and maybe a veggie tray.

Of course there will be plenty of cold beer and frosty mugs...

If the saints make it to the show i'll be in the french quarter for the game.
Will have a muffalatto from central grocery one day for lunch and raw oysters from acme oyster house the day of the game.
Supper will be a debris poboy from mothers day b4 game and WHO KNOWS ON GAME NIGHT.
Win or lose if the saints make it to their 1st super bowl the french quarter will be rockin!!!

Hmmmm......

Well, we always take 3 homemade (at the party) deep dish Chicago Pizza's, Lagasse artichoke, spinach, and shrimp dip - might smoke the shrimp this year, At least 2 racks of St Louis smoked ribs..........and whatever I can think of by then.
