Actually, http://www.flickr.com/ is photosharing site which is now owned by Yahoo. It seems to be free. It's kind of nice as it has a specific group dedicated to food porn. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems you can put tags on your photos so people can search for it... ie BBQ. You can also link directly to your pics in full size. Also there is a resizing option for viewing or downloading.

Yes, you can link directly to a picture or paste an image. There maybe be a size restriction though.
