I know this may be a bit blasphemous since it is not smoked and is questionable whether it is even real meat but I have to admit I love the McRib sandwich.

Occasionally I check the McRib locator web site and one was spotted in a town about 45 minutes from here.
I haven't had a McRib in a few years and have been waiting their return.

Sure many people think it is gross but if you're like me you love those rib shaped patties so check the locator, you may find yourself in a town with a McRib or if you spot one at your local McD's why not add it to the list?

Jim.You may want to batten down the hatches....

I always feel if you like it,eat it....

I am on a string of 5 years with no fast food of anykind myself.

It always amazes me how many people say they love those things.......more power to ya. LOL You can have my share as well.

Saw a show on the history channel at one time where a guy put it the best: He calls McRib "Faux" (pronounced "foe") BBQ, for fake BBQ. IF anybody asks you if you want a McRib, you just tell them "Faux Q".

Jim, for someone who creates such wonderful, and real, food, how can you possibly eat that stuff?

I guess we all have our Achilles heel. Man, you can have mine and Mrs Rivet's too!

That is one of the grossest sandwhiches out there imo, right next to the mcchicken... ugh...

processed meat parts.... How can anyone eat those?

If I get one I'm half tempted to wrap it bacon or sausage and toss it in the smoker...maybe not.
Have you seen The Simpsonns episode about them? The Ribwich. Great show, and the sandwich is like crack, but tastes better.

I remember seeing those in a store before although not labeled McRib, something else...for 88 cents a pound I choose real spares. I get a Whopper once in a while, but usually taste it all afternoon...

Jim JIm JIM what are we going to do with you. Im with Rivet on this one you have produce such great works of food art

As a former McDonalds employee, the arrival of the McRib was always brought with praise and joy from customers. Many a weekend afternoon was spent with me stuffing long rolls with a pork type product simmering in some sauce topped off with pickles and onion. It was probably one of the most popular sandwiches we used to serve.

I was always a big fan of this sandwich, and would get another one if they still existed. It is of course not BBQ, but who said it was? A Big Mac is not a burger either, but it still fills the hole when needed. Of course, after working there for 3 years and seeing what takes place in a fast food kitchen, I have limited my fast food intake to when I am drunk and or under the influence of other substances. Everything tastes delicious after a 6-pack!

LIVE ON MCRIB!!!!!!!!!!

At least I'm finally not alone here
