1st time seeing these and have to give them a try. My fat lighter splits work pretty good and at $10 these are a little pricey. Anyone else used these ?

Never used them or any other pre-made fire starters.
I make my own out of cutdown paper towel tubes, torn up paper towels , and some vegetable oil.
They work pretty good with either lump or briquettes.

Thanks I'll try to find some. Our Tractor Supply doesn't offer much for smoking/grilling

I have tried Royal Oak Fire Starter squares, Tumbleweeds, and Fatwood in my 560. I like the Fatwood the best of these three.

Finally got to use them yesterday and that's the easiest light I've had. Used 2 squares and she was was up and running. But I will surely stock up on Rutland squares for the difference in $$
