maverick problems

I cant get the HHH to clear on my maverick. My temp probe on my smoker says 250. Any ideas as to why I cant clear this on the digital?

Sounds symptomatic of a bad probe wire. It may have gotten wet (which may clear up as it drys out), kinked, or burnt. :( A new probe lead usually fixes the problem.

I don't have that thermometer but it could be as simple as low batteries.

Yup, that sounds like a trashed probe. I keep a couple spares on hand for just that situation.
