There is a regional store here in middle TN called Bargain Hunt....I often see these thermometers for sale in the 20-$25 price range. If you live near one go check it out. Needless to say I own a couple. But a $48 price tag ain't half bad either.

Don't use the quotations and the first is a one (1), not an I. I made that mistake.
