Has anyone seen the MB BT 40” for sale anywhere except Amazon? They want $520. Why so expensive? Is there a newer Gen 2.5 model?

I got mine at Sam's,and I know Cabela's sales them. I believe I gave @ 350 for mine.
You can try Bass Pro Shop. They might have some in stock @449. Or check out ACE - I seen one listed for 382. Sams club have them for 329.
