masterbuilt lp smoker conversion to nat gas

I have a Masterbuilt vertical "squared shape" propane smoker. Does anyone know if it will work on nat gas hooked up to the house outlet if I just take out the orifice plug and replace the hose??? I have a grill that is dual gas, and was converted by removing the orifice plugs and replacing the hose. The house has a stub out on the wall that the grill is hooked to with a quick disconnect...
