Masterbuilt Electric Smoker

A guy has  a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker for sale for $80.  Looks like the 30", all black model.  He said he has only used 4 times.  I was going to call to make an offer, but saw that he is about 2 hours away from me.

What do you think, does driving 4 hours round trip and $80 sound like a good deal?

They are around $175 brand new, so guess it depends on if you are down for a road trip or not, I would do it if it was me, but then again that kind of trip really is not much of a drive here in Texas.

I guess it also depends on MPG of your Pick-up.

4 hours must be at least 160 miles round trip.

10 MPG ???-------------16 gallons------$64.

15 MPG ???-------------12 gallons------$48.

Plus $80 cost   =   $128 to $144 cost with pick-up.

Just something to consider,
