Masterbuild sportsman elite propane advice

Hi there. Im Brandon from Illinois. My Fiance got me a Masterbuild sportsman elite propane smoker for christmas. I dont have much experience with smokers and was looking for any tips or advice for this smoker. Planning on smoking a porkloin this weekend.
