My dad's hobby was woodworking. His bench was the same as yours with the ¾" plywood glued on top of the 2x4s. He didn't want any nail or screw heads exposed. Going to be a nice bench...

Nice . You'll get good use from that stuff . Been wanting a spindle sander . I've been looking at the 17" Grizzly with a resaw fence . On sale , but not sure I need that much saw . I have an older ( 60's ) Craftsman 12" that needs some parts .

Bought this back in May . Kind of an impulse buy , but it's been worth every penny .

This one can resaw 2x4's. Which works for me for now. Though, I'm tired of finding decent 2x4's. I bought some 2x6's. Which are much better. Though more work. Ripping and resawing. But the results are far better.
