Got a new Great Outdoors Smokey Mountan Series 3405BGW propane smoker tonight! Goin to assemble it in the morning and season it, then think I'll throw on a pork loin for it's inagural run. Gonna use this one till I get "Used to be Cool" done, then I'll have two!

Hope to have some q-view for yall tomorrow!

Bleepity, bleep. I felt all good getting one smoker, now I find out that having only one is inferior. Don't make me angry, you wouldn't ........ oh, you know how it goes.

WD: Picked it up at wally world, was the last one they had on the shelf for now anyway. Kinda disappointed in there bbq selection this year, don't have much on hand and looks like they have bout everything out there gonna have.

Haven't got it out of the box yet, youngest boy was in the hospital this afernoon, so everything was on hold. He's home tonight, so, gonna get everything together first thing tomorrow and get started!

Bill: yup, we been married 26 years, pretty much bout as compatible as we can be and still like each other!

Most of our friends have been married two or three times by now. I tell her I'm to old to train another one!

tip..........which wally world it this........mine down here, have CRAP for smokers..........like NONE............is this a charchol or propane unit?
or did i miss that fact?

WD: They have the smaller GOSM, and then had this one, I think it might have been a hold over from last year considerin all the dust on the box! Other wise, I think most everything elese was just a grill. Very few outdoor cookin items so far, and don't look like they got room for anything elese either. Really disappointed in there bbq section this year, cripes, I think Shopko has more and that IS a sad statement!

Bought a propane for ease of use, kinda miss my homebuilt SS unit, so this will help out. When I get "Used to be Cool" done I will have a gas and an electric, just have to find a way to come up with the need for either a stick burner or charcoal next!

WD: I do to, just don't have the kinda time to babysit like I'd like to, the electrics and propanes can pretty much take care of themselves. I have to many things goin on while smokin, to much to do and not enough time to get it all done!

This way, I can smoke and still work around the shop and house.

to me..........babysitting a smoker, is what also makes the food taste so good..........another added benefit is..........if momma wants a chore done RIGHT NOW kinda thing......you go.........HONEY-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y........I CAN'T-T-T-T.........i have to watch this fire........sowwy..........

best thing is having freinds over, standing around the smoker, shooting the sh*t, drinking beers, and telling lies.........least in MY werld anyway........LOL

WD: if I tried the "gotta watch the fire" thing, I'd be watchin stars after that cast iron frying pan bounced off my head! This was the lesser of the two evils, this way I still get to smoke and the chores get done to!
