here is a pic of jal peppers drying to be used as the heat of my rub

these will be dried and powdered in blender to make jalepeno chili powder

Look good, I do the same with hot Hungarian peppers. I should be picking in a week or so.

just finished grinding them in blender, put in a empty spice bottle and its ready for whenever we need a lil heat!!!!    2.5 lbs of peppers didnt fill a wal-mart spice container, it must take 15 lbs of garlic to make a can of garlic powder!!!!
