I picked up my new Stumps last Monday, had to do some power brushing on it and finally got to start a fire in her yesterday morning. I spent most the day learning how to get the temp set to where I wanted it...really didn't take that much time but I had other chores and task to do as well. It settled right in and chugged along. I started it at 8 am saturday morning and will shut her down around 5 tonight. Looks like she will burn somewhere around 18 to 20 pounds of Cowboy Lump for that time frame (33 hours).
I threw some 9+ butts on last night to help season it and pulled them off around 10 this morning. I fell asleep and forgot to foil but as we know butts are very forgiving!
Ignore the potatoe I had been using those probes to monitor pit temp and the other got knocked down on the grate while I was working.
I will be posting another thread shortly for the BB's on now. Thanks for looking.
