Loving Retirement!!

I retired in 2015 and never looked back. No regrets whatsoever.
I stay busy with brewing, meat processing and a side hustle of restoring vintage radios and automotive electrical systems. Bored I'm not.

Retied at 66, in 2013.
Only regret is not going on cruises before the las 6 years. Really enjoy them.
Heading back to Hawaii in 48 days (but who's counting).

Took the trash out .

Same here. We bought a clock for the camper...has days of the week. Find myself forgetting what day it is.

You and me both . I retired at 58 in 2017 - 18 . I worked 38 hours in 2018 .
Anyway , I love it too . I hear people say " I'll need something to do , and talk about working part time . ARE YOU NUTS !! Not for me .

You suck I mean congrats! LOTS are posting limit perch hauls on FB. Plan is 10 more years 63 and a side gig or 3.

I'm five years in, retired at sixty in 2020 with 40 years at the gas company. I told my wife that I would work for charity but I would never work for a wage again. When I'm not Cowboy Action Shooting, I'm pittling around the yard and fixing things around the house. Same with our church. They always need something done. So I stay as busy as I want to be. We have three grand kids (5, 6 and 10) that live pretty close so we spend a lot of time with them too. Another thing that has been fun is ebike riding. It gives me more exercise than just walking the dogs twice a day.
The wife and I enjoy our morning coffee watching the local morning news and get a kick out of the morning traffic report.

Accepting a buyout at 60 that got me to 62 was the best thing I ever did! Retirement is great! How's the fishing?

100% agree, retirement is grand! We pulled the pin about 4 years ago. zero regrets

January will be 9 years for me and 4 for Sheila. I have a couple of regrets about leaving unfinished work, but the project that I had been working on for the last 3 years I was there, lasted another 4 years. Couldn't see that through. I definitely didn't retire to look for work.

Now I fish for fun money. Hard to believe people pay to take them fishing...

I would retire if the house was paid for, the kids were out of college, and health insurance wasnt so expensive. Those are just excuses though. Planning on working 3 more years full time then half time for one or two more if I can take it. Will be 62 then, out of excuses and kids will be set for life. Now if the boss pisses me off tomorrow maybe I should just quit on the spot. Let the kids fend for themselves. Wish I were more selfish.
