These pictures are ribs and chicken I did while at a backyard bbq competition. I got 7th out of 22 overall. I am sorta proud! First one and went up against nothing but traegers and other pellet smokers with a bunch of generators going and here I show up with a simple kettle, small fire pit and two Gabby’s Santa Maria Grill attachments. Only reason score was too low was because my food was done a little to quickly so had to sit them in a warmer and they got over cooked. But I did get best ribs for people’s choice.

Congratulations on the smokey success.

Congratulations!!! Seventh overall is a great accomplishment for first time competition. Any special (non-secret of course) recipes or methods you use that you would like to share with us?

Food looks great, btw.
