Ours died a while back and we miss it.

Anyone have a Breville Sous Chef® 12? Next size up is 16cup which I think is just too big for the two of us...and costs a lot more.

Seems like all the ones I looked at are rates about a 4.

Thanks!

We have a cheap food processor that we hardly ever used. That is until recently when I discovered just how handy they are. I'm watching this because I'd like to get a much better one...

We have the Kitchenaid 7 cup. It’s nice enough and does a good job. Has the shredder and slicer attachment too.

Same. I have a little 3 or so cup chopper that's just way too small to use on much (it goes on the end of my stick blender). I use it, but would like a little bigger one.

I've had this one since 2019 . You see it used on Test kitchen / Cook's country as well as Guys Ranch kitchen and Chopped . It's a beast . I use it for emulsifying sausage and mixing dough .
Price is up there , but I got mine for $148.00 .

Here's a thread on doing quick rolls .

Yup . I think they changed something , not sure what . The part number is the same , but has added prefix . I believe it said discontinued when I bought it .
It's awesome . I use it way more than I thought I would .
That one you bought should be about the same .

You musta got the last one... Says outta stock now... LOL... Not that I was gonna buy one..

Enjoy the new toy...
Ha, their web site has said that for a year. Bought it from Target.

Jeff talked me into that Cuisinart FP-12DCN Elite Collection 2.0 12-Cup Food Processor Die Cast. Man that things a beast.

We have a Cuisinart with multiple blades and bowl sizes, it was $$$$ It gets used about once a quarter.....However this one one gets use ALL the time (2 to 3 times a week)!

Possibly the best food processors are the Magimix brand made by Robot Coupe in France. They are the original food processors and have a 30 Year guarantee on the motor with a lesser warranty on the plastic bowls and the like.
They have a refurb program which gives you a full factory warranty. They're pricey even thru the refurb program but are the best rated processor I've ever found. Another problem with the refurb program is that they are regularly sold out and you have to ask to be put on a notification list. I'm on that list but got lucky and found the small 4200xl on a used auction site which should be big enough for my needs.
