Looking to eat good BBQ

I am driving cross country and need some advice on some BBQ restaurants to eat at in Omaha Nebraska, Kansas City, St. Louis, Nashville. Does anyone have any great restaurants they would like to share?

In KC there are lots of BBQ places but I'd suggest hitting the Hereford House for a steak.

Oklahoma Joe's in Kansas City, Kansas is great. It was on somebody's list as the best ribs in the US and another list as the best sandwich in Kansas. We ate there a few weeks ago and while the line was out the door, we still got our food within 15 minutes.
