Any recipe could be used, brine the fish overnight, fan for at least 4 hours to glaze than toss it in the dehydrator until it's done to your liking. A lot of the Squaw candy recipes call for basting with pure maple syrup, if they do I'd wait until it's getting close to being done before glazing, so it doesn't seal the moisture into the fish.
