That's why I have a tiny little itty bitty lawn and most of my property is left as woodland. I have so many critters around here they'd mess it up if vehicle traffic didn't. Propane trucks, concrete trucks, cranes, you name it. My wife mows the little bit there is with a battery mower. The only reason we have that much is for the dog to roll on otherwise it would be artificial.

The only critter troubles I have here are the Deer rub & wreck my new trees, the Turkeys steal my Wild Raspberries & Wineberries, and the Rabbits & Deer eat some of Mrs Bear's flowers. However if you don't keep the woods back on all 4 sides, the ticks will get into the house. We don't like Ticks in the house.
It takes me about 1 1/2 hours 30 times a year to mow, but we like it.

I think it's very cool you get deer in your yard. Now if I saw snakes, I might set everything on fire haha

We go to a campground near Ft Benning (Uchee Creek) I like to bring a bag of corn with me and spread it out. Deer will come without but it's a better turn out when you spread that out. They know they can't be hunted on the campground. Just something about a brisk cool morning, small campfire and deer just after sunrise.

Deer, moose, coyotes and bobcats here. I love seeing the deer when they're in an open field. However, when they jump a fence coming out of the woods and land on your car - not so much. I've average about one deer hit every 10 years.

LOL---I once told a Dentist there were 3 things I hated:
Snakes
Spiders
Dentists

He said, "In That Order?"
I thought for a minute & replied;
Snakes
Dentists
Spiders

I can honestly say I only ever hit one Deer.
Hit it in 1982 with my 82 Dodge Rampage.
It cost me a 6 Pack of Miller High Life to get it fixed, of which I drank 4 of them myself.

2 deer killed, 1 wounded, and 1 goose. No alcohol involved in any of them.

That sucked! We run into a similar situation any time a delivery truck is larger than a single rear axle box truck. The dirt drive, my neighbor share, T's out. You go right to my place, left to Matt's. Anything big city cuts the corners and tears the crapolla out of our front lawn. I can sympathize...JJ
