Hi Jim,

Thanks for the like and the comment. Good idea, taking a pill to stay ahead of the cholesterol game.

That All Looks Great, Jack!!
I love those Spiral cut Dogs!
I get the shakes too badly to cut them, so I just always cut little angled slits in mine.
Yours are Outstanding!

Hey Bear,

Thanks for the like and your generous comment.

I imagine that your angled slits probably have the same affect as the spiral, and take less time and care in cutting.

I think I'll try your way next time.

Hey John, I was thinking of your post here, yesterday. My friend and I decided to grill up some dogs for a small picnic, and I didn't have time to do the spiral cut so I used your method of slices.

Took less time than spiral cutting and produced the same results as far as flavor goes.

Thanks for the tip.

I didn't have my smoke wood chunks with me so they are lacking in color, and smoke flavor, but still a big hit.

Late to the party Jack, but those look really good. I've had spiral cut dogs before and they are good. The little heart attacks are reminiscent of pork shots. I going to incorporate a little pineapple into the next batch of shots I make. Thanks for the idea!!!

Point for sure
Chris

Hey Chris thanks for checking it out and for your comments.

I suspect that these "Little heart attacks" are known by several names. Kind of like ABT's.

Thanks for the point.

Dogs look Great, Jack!!
I'm glad someone who doesn't have to do them that way, still likes my method.
Thanks for the Shout out.

Hey John,

I was hoping that you would see my addition to the post.

Your slicing method came in real handy as I was short on time.

It's much easier than spiral cutting and gives the same results.

Thanks for the idea. :emoji_thumbsup:
