I've been cooking on "Lefty" for a while. Learned fire and heat control and have made many a meal on this cooker.
I'm no Engineer just a do it myself type of guy. I sized the axle too small (.75") and it is starting to bend a bit. This cooker is heavy, not too bad if I keep it on the concrete as far as moving / rolling. At home I use my tractor to move it. It is a real pain to take it to family events and comps. I have to load it on a tilt utility trailer with a come-along.
I have started work on putting it on a small road trailer. I bought a Craig's list utility trailer for $200 and will down size it to fit the cooker. Sorry I don't have pictures of the trailer before I started but it is a 5×8 stout trailer. It has a 1.5 × 3× .25 c-channel frame.
Ill be posting updates.
