Wondering if there are any larger pellet grills that are great for smoking. I would also like to wish Everyone a Happy New Years, bs careful out there.
Thanks Saltydog

Bet you'll get many recommendations for a rectec smoker. I don't own one but most that do, love them! A pellet tube can always be added for additional smoke if you want.
Happy New Year

How big or what general size are you wanting, and of course what’s the budget?
Good Evening,
I smoked a 20 lb. Turkey for Thanksgiving and could hardly fit it in there also Every Sunday I smoke about 16 drumsticks and barely have enough room. I have a Z grill now. It has very precise settings for temp. Would like to have more options when it comes to temps. Price range $1500 or a little more if needed. Thanks Saltydog

I don’t own one, but for smoke flavor I would look at Lone Star Grills pellet smokers. They are priced about 1k higher than you posted budget, but the reason I would suggest them is they are high quality and they sell their own wood chips that can be mixed with the pellets, they don’t recommend using these chips in other pellet grills but they might work. I own a Yoder Ys 640, it’s a great pellet grill but the smoke flavor is mild, built like a tank though and a good pellet machine. Otherwise look to Req-tec as many members here really like them and they have a low “smoke” setting, but it’s still pellet smoke.
