Lang sold-WSM ordered

Well I just confirmed the sale of my Lang to a smf member.. Ordered my 22 WSM this morning.. I really hate to sell the lang but i just am too old to stay up all night tending to the fire..I'm sure i'll never own a smoker as nice as the lang again..But after reading for countless hours on here about the wsm from Jim and Rick and Jeff and others, I am looking forward to sleeping some during my overnite cooks now...

You will love the WSM. I still have, and use, my Horizon but the WSM is a nice change of pace when I'm not in the mood to tend a fire hours on end.

Hey, Mike. I'm almost totally new to smoking, but am very interested in the WSM also. I'm looking forward to hearing about the WSM thoughts from an experienced smoker who is just changing over (that's you, right?)

No worries... You were only semi-productive on the wood splitter anyhow. Now you won't need to be splitting any wood.

I think I would have added a gas smoker to the "arsenal" and kept the Lang.

Im sure you'll be happy with the other and whoever is getting the Lang has to be tickled pink as well.
