Well, take a ride! I imagine it's a bit warmer down here right now.

How much was it used between 2007 and the refurbishing last year. Was it used in a commercial operation or just normal smoking from time to time? What did the refurbishing consist of?

I'll get some inside photos when the sun is overhead today and post them. It probably should be re-seasoned since I haven't used it in so long.
My two business partners and I bought this as a Christmas gift to ourselves at the end of 2007. We had a company weekend getaway place and kept it in the boat shed there. They enjoyed the food but I'm the only one that cooked on it.
In the middle of the recession one of my partners dropped out of the company and I inherited it when we divided property. Cooked on it very frequently in 2008 and 2009 and then tapered off over the years to finally primarily only using it on July 4th and New Years Eve's butts for New Years' good luck meals for friends. Maybe I'd use it once or twice more each year. Always felt like I had to fill it up with meat to justify firing it up and the wife got tired of me giving away free food. I was pretty popular though.
I'm a stickler for keeping things clean and dreaded the cleanup the next day when I was inevitably hung over. I can only stare at the cooker thermometer for so long before I get bored and break out the beer. Bought an XL BGE to scale down a bit and haven't used the Lang at all in the last two years. The BGE doesn't really hold a candle to it but it sure is nice to just choke off the coals at the end of cooking and fire 'em up the next time. Was going to donate it to the family but the relative that would use it the most is a slob and wouldn't take care of it. Decided to get it wire-brushed and repainted at Lang's to keep it in good shape until I decided what to do. Believe they repacked the wheel bearings. They fixed the lights and replaced the rusty, nearly-frozen bolts on the vent wheels as well.

Inside Photos. Definitely needs re-seasoning. Rusty but no scale.
