Hi there, I've done a search and found zero results so apologies if this has already been asked.

Here in the UK it's proving expensive to buy a used/new Weber Smokey Joe for the MWSM mod.
For less than half the price of a Joe I can buy a new Landmann Piccolino 14" BBQ, has anyone used this for the MWSM?
Does anyone know if this will be suitable?

Cheers

As long as you get a pot that fits there is no reason you couldn't.

Thanks for the reply Super Fly, was hoping someone may have looked into this already.

Not sure if I'm going to take a chance spending the money and not finding anything to fit :(

Cheers

Here's what I would do. Measure the Landmann at the store, then go looking for a suitable pot. A substitute for a pot that can also work are 10 & 15 gallon steel drums.
