Tonight is lamb shoulder chops sprinkled in Montreal Steak Seasoning. Served with a tossed green salad and…………wait for it………Rice-a-roni.

We have not eaten Rice-a-roni in three months and we’ve had it twice in one week! I do like tonight’s rice pilaf more than the beef version. But this will be our fix of sodium based bouillon for awhile.

The chops were very tasty! The shoulder cut can be a bit gristly, but great flavor.

Never tried any of the lamb chops. Might have to add to our list.
Wife and I eat various ground lamb dishes.

Boxed rice is not in our meal plan. We don't eat that much sodium in 3 days. Actually not that hard to make your own version at home. My wife prefers brown rice.

BIG LAMB FAN HERE, THAT PLATE IS GORGEOUS, NICE WORK! RAY

Looks like it's perfectly cooked .
We do a lot of boxed rice here , but do more in the rice cooker .
Great lookin' plate .

Love a good lamb chop! I usually do my with some sort of Mediterranean mix.
