Indeed I do. It's about 7 or 8 years old. The heating rod went out a while back so I hand light it. Got a new rod last week only to find out that is always on. Even if the control board is off, the element is glowing red. Disconnected it and went back to starting it by have again.

I'm lucky, my wife and I don't complain about purchases... I might get an eye roll and a look but that's it. In return I don't give her any crap on stuff she buys. Mostly now are things for our granddaughter... it's all good!

Doesn't take long for refurbishing old to overtake the cost of new

I standard control board is like $75. I used it tonight and started with the torch I've used for a long time now. Maybe get some gift cards for Christmas?
