Lake Erie, Ohio
That covers most of the where, Cleveland for the home part, Vermilion, Lorain for the dry land away part and the Lake for a large part.  Been smoking meat since the 80s back to when I was stationed in California and catching fresh Pacific Salmon, Sturgeon and Stipers.  Used a Luhr Jensen Electric smoker then and for my travels in the Air Force following.  Since retiring, I've used a Brinkman Pitmaster with a Propane assist from Gassmoker.com I think it was.  Ed was the guy, great helper when I got going and I know still helpful to friends I've sent his way.  Mostly do salmon still and deer into jerky.  Not too interested in much else, though want to give some bacon a shot one of these days.  Been reading the forum for a long time, in fact sending guys here for a long time, finally joined.  Ordered some bags from a site sponsor using the coupon so figured I'd best be joining as a result.  Thanks for the help to date.

Hail there you big ole can of corn Jackarse.  You better be getting that Deer Jerky done.  Our first tournament on Erie is March 28th and your famous jerky better be aboard the boat for our lunch.  Now git back in the hole and get our secret worm harness blades painted.

Jerky is packaged and waitin on the weather and you to roll out the Walleye machine.  I'll have the tackle ready so just keep pouring those inline weights as they go on the line ahead of my lures!
