I did a test turkey last Sunday using a Kinder's brine kit. It comes with a salt/spice packet, big plastic bag, and some butter flavored rub. No smoker right now, so I did it the old-fashioned way in the oven.

The brine did its job, the turkey was moist, but I didn't catch a lot of other flavors coming through. The rub was just okay, nothing special. Maybe I've just been spoiled by being here for so many years, and taking advantage of everyone else's recipes and experience, but I doubt I will buy another Kinder's.
I guess I should add that I've been a bit underwhelmed by other Kinder products that I've tried, too.

I did not buy the whole kit, but I am planning on using their buttery rub tomorrow. Thanks for heads up. Am also using some Tony C's injection so the birds will be well buttered.

I've never used Kinder's turkey brine but I have used several other Kinders products and very much like them.

I'll be smoking a 10lb pork loin tomorrow morning and will be using Kinders No Salt Garlic&Herbs rub on it.

Damn I have that brine in the pantry. My mom is doing the bird in a grocery bag in the oven... At least this year I got her the Inkbirdbbq Inkbirdbbq wireless thermometer so the repeat of last year's nomstuffed bid cooked for stuffed time happens again. Wouldn't even let me brine the bird. I'm a bit butt hurt.

Did one in the oven brined very juicy didn’t think the seasoning was bad just could ofused more or maybe some paprika, possibly cayenne
