I bought a couple pork butts a while back when they were $1.50/lb so I took one out of the freezer the other day to throw on the old ECB.

I've got my gardens going real good this year and I literally can't keep up with the amounts of herbs that I'm producing. So I decided to try some fresh basil, oregano, and parsley mixed in with my regular pork rub. I'm no expert on what herbs go with what meats so since these 3 are growing right on my back patio, they won.

I gave it the olive oil treatment then I tried my best to pack in the herbs. After I put it on I figured I'd put some fresh leaves right on top. Not sure how it'll come out but I will definitely keep you all updated.

Hey why not? Fresh herbs are always a good thing. I bet adding some when you pull the pork would be good too.
