Looks good. I see that smoke ring too. How was it? I haven't smoked a meatloaf yet. I like to bake ketchup on mine...lol, but I never did make them that often, probably because only me and one of my children would eat it. But, the other child loves meatloaf so I'm going to have to try smoking one for her!
I haven't used pecan yet. I want to try it! I just got some oak and I may have found my favorite...so far... after trying hickory, mesquite, apple, and peach. I want to try all that I can get a hold of, including some I've read about from NZ and Hawaii.Came out pretty good. Used pecan wood. Nothing on top, maybe that contributes to the smoke ring
So, just FYI..Temp and time? Looks very good. That is my plan for Sunday. Something quick and easy on a busy day.
Looks great
what's all in there?
Sautéed onions, green onions, garlic, red peppers, and celery. Deglazed w/ red wine, some ketsup, worstershire, and spices. And when cool add to meat w/ a couple of eggs and some bread crumbs. Form and cook and there you are.
