First off...Hello everyone! Glad to be joining this forum, and looking forward to damaging my cholesterol further :P
I'm relatively new to the smoking world (have had a Green Mountain Grills pellet smoker for about 1yr now), but Im really new to the world of sausage making.
Im trying to make a clone recipe of Johnsonville sweet italian sausage. Ive made some italian sausage already using different ideas from several recipes, and it turned out pretty good, however my friends wife ONLY uses johnsonville sweet italian sausage for their family pasta night every week, and Im hoping to save them some money by making it fresh.
Ive searched the forums and the internet and haven't found any clones yet, and was wondering if anyone here has a good recipe or ideas of what may be similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
