I usually do not make jerky this way but have dont it a couple of times. I used LEM jerky seasoning and addeded some extra garlic and onion powder to it. It came out pretty darn good...I used ground venison...

Hey roller.... That is a great idea using the dehydrator in the smoker with the amnps... I was thinking about throwing my dehydrator away  (same as yours).... looks like I'll keep it

Thanks guys...boykj  thats the first time that I have ever did it that way but I did not have any jerky racks so I said what the hell. I have about 7 of those trays and I plan on putting them to good use now ...
