Well since I have a great smoker built by @seenred I needed a wood supply. Just went a cut a bit. Gonna have to be dried cuz it's about 25 to 30 % moisture but a plentiful supply of oak.

Nice score, bud! That smaller stuff will be great for camp fire cooks.

The same guy that cut this dropped 3 big ash trees today as well.

And after its cut and split I'll be on the way up with a trailer!!!! :emoji_laughing::emoji_wink::emoji_laughing::emoji_wink:

Man thats a great haul. How long will it take to dry?

Jim
Not sure Jim.

Got it moved out of the field and to my place so we can start cutting and splitting it. Ended up with three side dumps full of oak logs... cut down to about 6' lengths. This is the easy way to move wood... loaded with a skidloader with grapple forks.

That's all the big stuff... the pile of smaller branches is still there to get yet. Not bad for 4 hours worth of work!
