I have been eyeballing this post all week! Now I'm tempeted to fire up a Bottom Round, myself. How did you make your mop? Or is it a secret?

The mop is equal parts soy, Worcestershire, Jack Daniels and a can of coke. If you can spare the jack...double up on it

Thanks for the info SQWIB! I am going to give it a try when I smoke my two pot roasts tomorrow. I've never smoked those before, but I think your mop would do them right! Also, you should know that this thread has now convinced me to invest in a meat slicer, LoL. Thanks again!

Was at Sams again and they do keep this cut with the brisket. So now I don't feel too bad ... lol

I used your JD injection on a bottom Round and it rurned out amazing! I cut it as thin as i could with my elecrric knife. I will definately wlbe smoking this again. I justscored a free meat slicer and will hopefilly get some thinner cuts next time.

The chuck roasrs didn't turn out well, mainly because they were cut too thin to start and I over smoked them. I wound up throwing them in the crockpot the next day and making shredded beef from them.
