It's raining, chilly, and just nasty outside this saturday. Close enough.....Beer-thirty time!

Man that sucks. It's a little chilly here but no rain. Actually, excited to get off work so i can try out my new creation. Be the first time I've used it or really smoked anything on my own.

It is gushing from the sky like you would not believe! Not a good thing for this part of the country. But....

Beer thirty arrived a bit early, the wood stove has the place comfy and I have a friend gonna drop by in a bit.

There is a pot roast working on the wood stove and a general feeling of well being here!

Gonna be a nice Saturday. Will smoke tomorrow, maybe.

Yup! Sure has! Temps will barely reach fifty from now till next weekend and get colder from there! And I love it! Great hunting, friends dropping by and a really good time. Then comes the snow and ice and that is my money season. What more could you ask for?

Just one l'il teeny weeny problem...... In my current occupation from December first till April first if the phone rings you have thirty minutes to report to work. I live fifteen miles from work. GO figure!

We are compensated for being on call but nowhere near enough. And because of CDL rules we cannot have even a "Measurable" amount of alchohol n our bloodstream.

So once again we go into winter hibernation socially and personally.

I will very soon work my way out of this part of the business and no longer have these restrictions. But for at least this coming winter I will be a Snow Warrior.

i dunno man, me personally like the 60-70 sunny days like we're having today. i'll let ya have all that snow. i grew up in it and don't care for it that much. i do enjoy cold weather though. good crisp cold and a cold beer, not having to buy ice. probable have it a little easier durin the summer though.
