  Yep you will.  My electric produces wood smoke just like any other box!!!   Hell you can SMOKE food indoors using a foil pan.  I understand that an electric is more like an oven BUT I am still smoking my food. 

     PLUS I don't have to sit around and tend a fire......that makes it WAY worth it

Man I hear ya, but my time is limited with family and work and........you get the picture.  I understand the whole combustion thang but I'll tell you that the Q I am putting out in this electric is better than most of what I get from "real" bbq places.  

I LOVE the convenience of the Electric.....more time for drinking
