That is exactly what I was thinking and going to suggest.I'd take the box for sure. It depends on what projects you have lined up. I would gut it and use it to put some other fun project in.
A couple grand. . .Yikes! That box is worth a couple grand. Yup, fuses are still used. And that one can be converted to 3 phase.

Double Yikes! It's possible. These things are in short supply right now. Hell, some 400 amp fuses cost upwards to 700.00 each
I just seen a similar box on eBay with fuzes listed for$600. If I get half that, it would be well worth the 5 minutes to take it down.
You're not kidding. We needed some relays for a safety circuit. Took 4 months to get. We requested 3. Only got 2. Not to mention lead times on raw materials for our products. Plastic jugs and glass bottles shortages have shut some of the lines down for extended periods of time. Its is absolutely amazing what anything to do with housing/construction costs these days. The lead times on materials are insane.

A-B, SqD, or Telemecanique?
Personally, I wouldn't waste my time on the panelboards. Here's a pic of one of the worst rooms. And a couple pics of some panel boxes I'm going to remove.
Nice find on the disconnect

Have a local guy that will give me $75 for one and $50 for the other. 20 mins work for $125. Definitely Worth it.Nice find on the disconnect
